    Derivatives: Solving a Related Rate Problem help?

    Can anyone help me with this online assignment? I have went through the first part but the 2nd part seem pretty confusing. Can anyone give me tips as to how to start it? I have to select right answers.

    EDIT: the "N" stands for pi.
    how come the answer come up as sin to the power of (2pi/4)? sin^...
    You can not have sin, cos to the power of something.. or did i interpret it wrong again? thanks!

    Sorry but MHF policy is to not knowingly help with work that counts towards a student's final grade (and in my experience on-line assignments fall in that category) - it's meant to be the student's own work.
