# basic definition matching.

basic definition matching.
Im having problems trying to match up "Linear Approximation and Differential basic terms". The answers i chose should be correct but its not. Can anyone figure out why?

what are the answers you chose? ... and why.

the answers i chose are as follows in the following. B, A, E is from textbook diagrams. F is the tangent line because it touches curve at one point. Not sure about D and C, a friend helped me.

D looks like it's only another label for f(x) ... the linearization of f at x is the tangent line at f(x).

Everything else looks fine.
