    Iterations ??

    Hi,
    I was working a past paper from the AQA and came across question 3 part b(vi) ... which I don't have any idea what it means. Any help would be appreciated a lot. The question is attached.

    With the (iv) part you will approximate alpha. Its called the Newton's method.
