    contours

hey does anyone know how to contour a line, 2x+4y+2. I know for an equation of a circle you put the equation equals to k . the radius is square root of k . what you put as the radius and centre here?
    thanks for help

Put the line equal to k. i.e 2x+4y+2=k and plot the rest of your lines relative to tha one.

To plot, let you k equal different numbers. You will get an infinite number of parallel lines. Plot the one with k=0 (x=0,y=2, y=0,x=1)

As it is the equation of a line, you don't have a center or a radius.
