So I encountered this problem on my final today and had no idea how to do it. $\displaystyle f \left( x \right) ={\frac {x+1}{x-1}}$ How do I do this?

Sorry it may not make sense, I don't remember the whole thing.
Try to consider that is... $\displaystyle \frac{x+1}{x-1}= \frac{x+1-2 +2}{x-1} = 1 - \frac{2}{1-x}$ (1) Kind regards $\displaystyle \chi$ $\displaystyle \sigma$
