    It might become more obvious if you complete the square in the denominator first...

    if your saying that I use tan substitution then that's not working out....i am at a loss here.. i have an exam and i have been trying to solve this fr some time.....can u explain if u know d answer....

    Try making x+5 = 5\sec\theta \implies dx = 5\sec\theta \tan\theta
