Thread: Fluid Force Problem

I need help on a test problem, anyone that knows anyting about calculus should be able to answer this problem, and that's why I can't answer it. If I get a "A" on this test then I have an "A" for semester and "B" will get me a "B" for semester so any help would be great, but if you're just guessing at an answer please state that you're guessing.

Find the fluid force exerted against the vertically submerged flat surface depicted in the diagram. Assume arbitary units, and call the weight-density of the fluid w POSSIBLE ANSWERS: A)3072w B)1536w C)768w D)256W
