The shortest distance from any point to the z axis will just be sqrt(x^2 + y^2) Therefore work that out for each of your points and the smallest answer is the shortest distance

yes shortest distance to z axis = sqrt(x^2 + y ^2) yes shortest distance to y axis = sqrt(x^2 + z ^2) By following the pattern im sure you can determine the forumula for x axis all im doing it doing pythagrous by the way
