1. ## implicit differentiation

xy+2y=x^2

xy+2y=x^2
$xy'+y+2y'=2x$

$xy'+2y'=2x-y$

$y'(x+2)=2x-y$

Solve for $y'$

xy+2y=x^2
Hi all

xy+2y=x^2
hi

implicit differentiation is not necessary , you can make y the subject then use the quotient rule like what mr mohamed did .
