    instantaneous rate of the function

Find the value for the instantaneous rate of the function g(x) = tan(x^3) + 8 at x = 3. Use radian measure in the trig function. Give the answer accurate to two decimal places.

I got 316.363 but was marked incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

Show some work - how did you get that answer? To differentiate g(x), you will need to use the quotient and chain rule.
