    Finding the area of the curve

    Find the area that encloses.

    r = 2 + cos(2θ)
    Finding the area of the curve-capture.png

    For finding the interval I put r = 0. Now I dont know how to solve for r. I am stuck.

    Any help

    Integrate \frac12r(\theta)^2 with respect to theta over [0,2pi].
