I need to find the area of the region bounded by the graph of
y= x^3 - 2x^2 - 3x, and the x- axis.

Solving when $
y=0 \implies 0= x^3 - 2x^2 - 3x \implies 0= x(x^2 - 2x - 3)$
$\implies 0= x(x-3)(x+1) \implies x= -1,0,3

$

Now solve $\int_{-1}^0x^3 - 2x^2 - 3x~dx - \int_{0}^3x^3 - 2x^2 - 3x~dx$

Do I replace x with -1 in the first formula and x with 3 in the second and then subtract the two?
