    [SOLVED] General Indefinite Integral

This is a really simple integral on an online practice site, but the computer says my answer is incorrect. I re-checked my solution with derivatives and think that it is right. Can anyone help out?

    My solution is 6.4x^5/2 + 6.6x^5/3 + C.

    Thanks!

Yep i calculated \frac{32x^{\frac{5}{2}}}{5} + \frac{33x^{\frac{5}{3}}}{5} + c which equates to the same as your answer

You could tidy up the powers a bit...

    Dear statelyplump,

Your answer is correct. Check Wolfram Mathematica Online Integrator

    Hope this will help you.

Thank you for the verification, guys. I'll let my professor know that the website is incorrect.

I entered my answer as a radical and it still says that it is incorrect. I don't know if there is a problem with the web site, but it also says that my answer to this question is incorrect:

My answer to this definite integral was 54/63 + 140/63 = 194/63. Is this also a website issue?

My answer to this definite integral was 54/63 + 120/63 = 174/63. Is this also a website issue?
    Dear statelyplump,

This time your answer is incorrect. It should be, http://wims.unice.fr/wims/wims.cgi?s...on=12&format=t

    Hope this will help you.

Thanks for the checks Sudharaka. I accidentally copied my answer over to the post incorrectly and I edited it soon after I posted it (but I guess you were still responding to the original post). I notified my professor about the errors, so I guess that's all I can do.
