# Thread: [SOLVED] General Indefinite Integral

1. ## [SOLVED] General Indefinite Integral

This is a really simple integral on an online practice site, but the computer says my answer is incorrect. I re-checked my solution with derivatives and think that it is right. Can anyone help out?

My solution is 6.4x^5/2 + 6.6x^5/3 + C.

Thanks!

Yep i calculated $\frac{32x^{\frac{5}{2}}}{5} + \frac{33x^{\frac{5}{3}}}{5} + c$ which equates to the same as your answer

You could tidy up the powers a bit...

Dear statelyplump,

4. Thank you for the verification, guys. I'll let my professor know that the website is incorrect.

I entered my answer as a radical and it still says that it is incorrect. I don't know if there is a problem with the web site, but it also says that my answer to this question is incorrect:

My answer to this definite integral was 54/63 + 140/63 = 194/63. Is this also a website issue?

My answer to this definite integral was 54/63 + 120/63 = 174/63. Is this also a website issue?
Dear statelyplump,
