Find examples to show that if the series $E u_k$and $E v_k$ both diverge, then the series $E(u_k+v_k)$and $E(u_k+v_k)$ may either converge or diverge

3. The "E" is the summation symbol in front of the series i just didn't know how to enter it in with LaTex
it's also used with sequences too normally there is k=1 on the bottom and infinity above it

4. For the divergence case :

$\sum_{n \geq 1} \left[ 2^n + 3^n \right]$

For the convergence case :

$\sum_{n \geq 1} \left[ n + (-n) \right]$
