    Area of enclosed region

Find the area of the region enclosed by y=sin2x and y=cosx for -pi/2 < x < pi/6? (INCLUSIVE INTERVAL)

do i just take the integral of the top minus the bottom?

Not yet, you need to find out if they intersect on the given interval first.

    Do they? i.e. solve $\displaystyle \sin 2x = \cos x$
