    Areas with polar coordinates

    I'm having a spot of trouble with some of these problems. A little help please? Thanks!

    Find the area between a large loop and the enclosed small loop of the given curve.
    r = 1 + 2cos(3θ)

    double half the outer loop - double half the inner loop

    V = \int_0^{\frac{2\pi}{3}} r^2 \, d\theta - \int_{\frac{2\pi}{3}}^{\pi} r^2 \, d\theta
