I'm trying to do a problem that is integration by parts.

I'm pretty sure I need to do a substitution, like make but I'm not sure.

If that is the case, I'm not sure where to go next. What should be my u and what should be my dv?

Thanks,

MJ

**As you said, substitute to get:**

**Use integraton by parts with and**

**Can you do that ?** - April 20th 2010, 10:06 AMMJ320
I have no idea how you went through the steps to get that. How did you get rid of the x^3?

Also, thank you for the reply... :) - April 21st 2010, 12:39 AMGeneral
