How do I figure out what the sum is given some of its terms?

    The terms are: 1 + 1/3 + 1/5 + 1/7 + 1/9 + ...

At first, I thought this would be the sum of 1/(n+2) and it does work except for the first term (1). Could someone please help me out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!
