I get math syntax error when I try to plug -3 into the original equation.
$\displaystyle f(-3)=[(-3)^2-3]e^{-3}=(9-3)e^{-3}=\frac{3}{e^3}$
Well I get 9-3 not 9-6. Can you double check your answer? I see what I did wrong, I guess you can't input e^-3 in a calculator. Now I just tried 1/e^3 and still got syntax error. Is it possible this is not computable?
$\displaystyle \frac{1}{e^3}=.049787068368...$
