is there a better method than simpson's rule using the same amount of "n" terms but with a more accurate answer?

What do you mean by "better"? Simpson's rule approximates the function by a piecewise quadratic function. Using a piecewise cubic or piecewise quartic function will give a more accurate answer for the same "n" but will be much harder to calculate.
