# Thread: Length of arc curve

1. ## Length of arc curve

Find the length of arc of the curve 9y^2 = 4x^3 from the origin to the point

Heres my solution:

After that i got an answer of 3.85 w/c is not favorable of the answer key

why am i not getting this right?

The derivative you found is incorrect:

4. ## Re: Length of arc curve

Well, you've cited an eight year old thread to find arc length.

Is $(0,2\sqrt{3})$ a set of coordinates or something else? Are you using the same curve as stated in the citation?

It would help if you wrote out your problem statement in full detail.
