Bisection method help
Or "How do I avoid carpal tunnel syndrome while using this method"
I have a series of problems using the bisection method that go through the process a minimum of ten times. Considering I have joint issues, this is painful in both time/labor and physically.
What's the easiest/fastest way to get my calculator to do as much of the work as possible? Right now I'm manually entering values into a table and using a second calculator to calculate midpoints.

So there isn't a way to do it, or at least in the table say "x_3 = (x_2+x_1)/2"?
My school has let me use a TI-89 since beginning algebra, they are fully aware of what a TI-89 can do. I've been respectful of that and any time the TI-89 can outright work a problem, I don't do it. I also don't load programs onto it.
My goal is to avoid having to type out (3.32265625+3.3359375)/2 and so on and so forth each time. Not have the entire thing done for me.
