    Help with derivation

    Hi.
    Can't seem to get this right. Can anyone please help me.

    Derivative of the function
    f(x)=xe^x^2

    f(x) = x\,e^{x^2}


    f'(x) = x\,(e^{x^2})' + e^{x^2}\,(x)'

    = x(2x)(e^{x^2}) + e^{x^2}(1)

    = 2x^2\,e^{x^2} + e^{x^2}

    = e^{x^2}(2x^2 + 1)
