rotation
If C is the circle in the xy plane with radius 2, centre at the origin, find the integral of c for (x+y)dx(x+y)dy+2zdz.
to do this, i would need to know the direction in which C is rotating so that i can parametrise C.
but how do i find out which direction is it rotating?
my notes states use the right hand rule to find the direction of C...but i have no idea how using this rule will help me find the direction...
thanks!

Have you considered doing it both ways? It might be a useful exploration.

i assume that the answers would be the same, differing by a factor of 1?
to prevent that from happening, is there some way i can identify the direction of rotation before choosing my parametrisation?
