$\frac{4}{x}+5 > \frac{1}{2x}+3$

or

$\frac{4}{x}+5 > \frac{1}{2}x+3$

Well first off you cross multiply giving...

$4(2x+3) >x+5$

Then expanding the LHS you get...

$8x+12 >x+5$

Can you finish it from here?
