    Can I solve this limit?

Is it possible to solve either of these two limits? Since they're recursive functions I'm rather confused. I just get that the limit = f(x), which is not what I want

Since I'm deficient at using LaTeX, I've copied the image from equation editor:

    Thanks!

    First one= f(x)
    Second one= 0
They can be evaluated by direct substitution.
Its better to post the whole problem to know what do you want exactly.
