What function are you implying by [x]? Absolute value of x? The floor function?

The other two problems are awefully familiar. I believe Berkanatci asked the same two questions in an earlier post (though neither has been answered yet).

I don't know where to begin to solve number 1 (I don't know the hyperbolic functions very well), but I'll try to solve 2.
