    Lightbulb Transformations of a parabola.

complete the square for the function. Then write a sequence of transformations that will produce its graph from the graph of y=x^2. Find the vertex and the line of symmetry of the parabola.

    f(x)=x^2 - 4x+6

You need it in the from (x-h)^2 + k

    f(x) = (x-2)^2+2

    Can you continue from there?

Have you been taught anything about transformations - in particular, translations ....?
