For (1), Its $y=(x^4)^x$ Or $x^{(4^x)}$ ?
For (2), Use this: if $f$ is a differentiable $y=tanh(f(x))$, then $y'=sech^2(f(x)) f'(x)$.

3. i entered in both of your number 1 answers and they were wrong. gtg though bbl
