For (1), Its $y=(x^4)^x$ Or $x^{(4^x)}$ ?
For (2), Use this: if $f$ is a differentiable $y=tanh(f(x))$ , then $y'=sech^2(f(x)) f'(x)$ .

I asked you to specify your function. It is not an answer!
for (2) I gave you a formula to solve your problem.
there is no final answers in my #1 post in this thread.
