# Volumes rotated about the x-axis.

So, we just started going over this topic in math and I'm having some trouble with this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

"In Exercises 1-10, the region is rotated about the x-axis. Find the volume.

1. Bounded by $y=x^2$, y=0, x=0, x=1."

Could somebody get me started please?

sketch the graph. this is a straight forward application of the disk method.

$V = \pi \int_a^b [r(x)]^2 \, dx$
