How can I simultanously solve this.
Come on, you have

$\displaystyle 4a^2 - 2b + c = 8$

and you know that $\displaystyle b = 4a$ and $\displaystyle c = 0$.

What's the equation you get when you substitute $\displaystyle b$ and $\displaystyle c$?

2. oh yessss thanks I already had that but my eyes are closing tired and yess I forgot that you used a instead of x. wow I should get some sleep now, thank you sooooo much, most appreciated. thanks
