Should I major in Comp Sci w/ low math skills?

Hi there. I'm 22, male, and am considering majoring in (in order of most desired): Computer Science (Calc 2 highest), Finance (Survey of Calc highest), Communication (no math).

My background: finished Algebra 1.5 in Sophomore year of high school. Dropped out in Junior year and got GED immediately. Geometry was main reason for dropping out (stupid, I know). I finished my Sophomore year's Algebra 1.5 with a C. I never studied. Just did homework and tests. I got 540 of 800 on my GED in Math, without studying.

Now, I'm a bit more mature and - maybe too late - am realizing the importance of math and studying. I am pretty good with computers. I'm the one people go to for advice and troubleshooting. I have experience with both PC and Mac. It's all mostly basic. When I was twelve, I was able to design websites in HTML. I never got into Java, C++, Basic, or anything like that. I put together my own quad-core PC half a year ago, but did require a bit of help, as I'd not grounded the motherboard properly.

As for finance, I'm just really good with money. I make projected spending plans for every major purchase, my monthly expenses, etc. And I enjoy doing it. As much as I do working with computers.

So I'm wondering, if I study, maybe I'll be able to get B's in Calc 2. MAYBE. If not, most likely Surv of Calc for Finance. Not too excited about Communication, as it seems computers may be taking the places of some of the careers you can work with a degree in Communication.

Any advice? Techniques? Blunt truths?

I don't want to discourage you, but it is not going to be like, Calc 2, and then no more math. Calc 2 is the least of your worries as a compute science major. I am not a cs major, but from those I have talked to, it is not what they were expecting. It was very mathematically oriented and very theoretical. It will be very hard without good math skills, but still possible. Go with your gut, but be reasonable. It will require a lot of math!

Last time I followed my gut, I ended up getting my Certificate in Massage Therapy. o.O

I'm leaning towards Finance.

If you're good with computer and not good with math, I'd suggest you to take a major that is related to Informative Technology. I don't think you have to be really good in math to do this major. After graduation, you can find a job in IT such as system engineer... With Computer Science, yes, you should be good in math. Otherwise, there'll be a lot of theories and analytical stuffs that are related to math. Moreover, I believe you have to finish Calculus to get into the major. Anyway, with the current IT market, you should think carefully before making a move into it. (Nerd)
