    Volume of a solid

I have done these kind of problems before, but for some reason, the e is throwing me. Any help you could give me would be great! Thanks!

Is it x-squared or 2x? Because, unless I'm just drawing a stupid blank here, but that is not a simple function that can be integrated, especially if you're at second semester calculus doing volumes of a solid. The "e" in and of itself isn't bad - it is the -x^2 that is the issue here.

It's x-squared. And I'm drawing the same blank. I can't find anything in my book about it, so I'm pretty lost.

Are you using the shell method ? Because if you are you end up with a simple integral
