Use the given graph of f to find a number δ that fulfills the following condition.




δ = ?

I am stuck in this problem and appreciate it if someone shows me the steps involved please.

Note on the graph |f(x) -3| < eps if 4 = 5 - 1 < x < 5 + .7 = 5.7


so certainly if x is within .7 of 5 |f(x) -3| < eps

therfore delta = .7
