hello everybody

can anybody tell me how can we find limits of multiple integrals if we r given equation of an n dimensional region over which we want to integrate some function of n variables....

i am saying that you would find the limits for different problems in different ways. there are quite a few scenarios to consider, it would be unreasonable to go through all of them here when you can go through a textbook or use google to discover different ones. unless you have a specific problem that you need help with, i suggest you consult some other resource.

5. actually i wanted to study it in a general perspective ..not for some specific problem ..and i encountered such problems in finding probability density functions of functions of n random variables ...can you please recommend any book or any resource where this thing has been discussed properly...thankyou

6. In general for pdf, try integrating with respect to a variable, then to another, etc... In any order you want.
No matter if, when integrating with respect to a given variable, the boundaries depend on an other variable.

(basically, you can do this thanks to Fubini-Tonelli's theorem)

7. yes i do the same way to evaluate pdfs but to do that we need to find the region for integration and then use limits so as to evaluate the multiple integrals ..im asking how to find the limits incase we r given the equation of the region on which we want to integrate..thank you all and sorry for the chat speak ...
