    how do you sketch the curve r(t) = (2t -1 , t, t+3)?

    Hello, alexandrabel90!

    How do you sketch the curve: . r(t) \:=\: (2t -1 , t, t+3)
    First, get some 3-dimensional graph paper . . .


    Since the functions are linear, the graph is a straight line.


    Plot any two points: . \begin{array}{ccc}<br />
r(1) &=& (1, 1, 4) \\<br /> <br />
r(2) &=& (3,2,5)\end{array} . . and draw the line.
