    Question application: rate of change

    problem: A bacterial cell is spherical in shape. Find the rate of change of the volume of the cell with respect to the radius when the radius is
    a) 1.5 Ám (micrometers) b.) 2 Ám

    V = (4/3)*(pi)r^3

    dV/dr = 3*(4/3)*(pi)r^2 = 4*(pi)r^2
