OK so here is this question for determining velocity of an object:
If a ball is thrown straight up into the air with an initial velocity of ft/s, it height in feet after second is given by . Find the average velocity for the time period begining when and lasting
(i) seconds

(ii) seconds

(iii) seconds

I'm wondering if its asking for the average velocity at times 1, 1.1, 1.01, and 1.001?
