hi ,

i am a bit rusty with my intergraion skills..

intergrate

---dx
----------
(z + x )^2

= { (z + x )^- 2 } dx

= (z + x )^- 1 / -1

hence i will achieve

---1
-------- <--- correct ?
(z + x )

If $z$ is a constant and not a function of $x$, then yes, your integration is correct. Don't forget the $+C$.
