I have this integral which i dont know how to solve...i tried with wolfram matematica but i dont get reasonable result... This is my problematic integral... $\displaystyle \int\sqrt{1-2\ sin(x)}dx$

That is because thhis one is the proverbial booger. It involves Elliptic Integrals and is not doable by elementary means.

I am loosing my mind with this one at least 2hrs, trying it to solve by hand, but no luck. Anyway i dont understand what this integral is doing in exercise book at beginner section.
