    limit trig funcrion

    What is the limit of
    lim x-> Pi- (1-cosx)

    I get confused because it is a lefthanded limit. Normally I just would plug in Pi for x.
    How do I do that with a one sided limit?

    since 1-\cos{x} is a continuous function, the left limit = right limit = the limit ... in other words, it does not matter in this case.
