Say if x=sinu/cosv and y=sinv/cosu how would you find partial u by partial x?

we can obtain partial u / partial x from the first equation.

I don't think that is correct. Correct me if I'm wrong but partial du/dx does not equal 1 over partial dx/du

I think it is correct, in the last step I only take partial u/ partial x in a one side and send others to the other side.
