    integrate by substitution #2

    how to solve:

    integrate 1/ ( x( 3x^2 +2x -1)^( 1/2))?

    integrate 1/(x Sqrt[3x^2 + 2x - 1]) - Wolfram|Alpha

    Click on Show steps.

    Alternatively, the substitution u = \frac{1}{x} works well.
