    Linearization problem

    Find the Linearization of f(x) = x+1/x at x =1

    It's the equation of the tangent

    <br /> f(x) \approx f(x) + f'(1)(x-1)<br />

    So here f(1) = 2 and f'(x) = 1 - \frac{1}{x^2} so f'(1) = 0. Sub this in above.
