When taking the derivative of a function, it is possible to obtain different algebraic formulas to the same function. I just wanted to know if my work is wrong or correct and if it is in fact equal to the answer or not. I don't want to go on assuming I am correct if I'm not which is why I'm asking for confirmation here.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Yes you can have different algebraic formulas for the same derivative. Just plug in a value into the variable into each formula and see if you get the same value. If you do then it the same.

As for your problem I just took a quick glance at it but I think you made a mistake when taken the derivative of

$\displaystyle \sqrt{x}e^x$

It should be

$\displaystyle \frac{e^x}{2\sqrt{x}}+ e^x\sqrt{x}$
