I don't know how to go about determining whether this series converges or diverges:

The summation from k=0 to infinity of ( (1/2^k) - (1/3^k) )
Split them up

$
\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} \frac{1}{2^k} -
\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} \frac{1}{3^k}
$

Both are geometric series.
