Note that $\cos^3 x = \cos x \cos^2 x = \cos x (1 - \sin^2 x)$ . Substitute this expression and then make the substitution $u = \sin x$ .

$\sin (2x) \cos x = 2 \sin x \cos^2$ and substitute $u = \cos x$ .

$\sin x \cos (2x) = \sin x (2 \cos^2 x - 1)$ and substitute $u = \cos x$ .
