    Partial limits

    Hi,
    How can i find all the partial limits of these sequences?
    a) a(n) = cos^n((pi)n/4)
    b) b(n) = n^(((-1)^n)n)

    Partial Sum Limit?
    Do you know about the geometric series? These problems seem to be a form of the geometric series...perhaps someone can confirm this for me before I provide more input
