    Question I have a basic principle missing

    When:

    1 = 1,5^x
    ...
    ...
    x =

    How to move things around to find x?

    Think you can take it from there?

    (Using logarithms would be the more general way, it is not always the easiest. The simpler way would be to note that you have to raise a positive number to the power zero to get 1....)
