Math Help - Relative Extrema

    Relative Extrema

    Let f be the function with derivative given f '(x)=sin(x^2+1). How many relative extrema does f have on the interval 2<x<4.

    To do this I know that I have to set the derivative equal to 0 and solve for x, but i'm not sure how to do it for this particular problem.
